Young Justice 'Home Front'

Robin FINALLY returned to Young Justice last Friday in the episode 'Home Front'! It was one of the BEST YJ episodes I've ever seen! I'm glad they finally had one focused on the Boy Wonder, but I was glad everyone was there, not just Kaldur, Conner, and Megan. I seriously can't wait for this weeks episode, 'Alpha Male', it sounds great! Maybe we'll get a little 'Batman' moment in it. ;) The story line was action packed in this last episode, and I hope we get more and more of it! Can you believe Red Tornado?? It says on the YJ Wikipedia that Red Tornado had no control over his 'attack' at the end of the ep. (Oops. Spoiler for those who haven't watched!) Hmm. We'll have to wait and see!

Star Wars the Clone Wars Season 4 Premiere!

Last Friday, September 16th, SWTCW Season 4 premiered! It showed two episodes, Water War and Gungan Attack, and they were amazing! The animation has come so far on the show. To do underwater scenes as well as they did was quite the accomplishment! It really was an amazing premiere. Although it did leave you hanging at the end, so I'm already ready for the episode that comes out this Friday. The new bad guy, Riff Tamson was pretty cool! He didn't even have a blaster, he just used his powerful, shark-like teeth, to rip through the Mon Cala people and the Clones. It was pretty crazy! Anyways, I think that those episodes were a great way to start the Season, and I can't wait to see what's next! :D

Young Justice!

Teenage Superheroes?? Bring it! I fell in love with this show the moment I saw the first preview for it. After watching the show Teen Titans for a while, I couldn't help but watch Young Justice. Although it's a lot more serious than Teen Titans, it is still just as entertaining to watch. It's full of suspense and action!

           I automatically favorited Robin when I saw the commercial. I am a Batman fan (obviously) and loved Robin in TT, so you can't blame me for loving this version of The Boy Wonder. ;) Anyhoo, there will supposedly be two more episodes of YJ this month, but I am not totally sure if that's true or not. I'll look out for them anyways! The beginning of next year will bring a new season, and it's called 'Young Justice: Invasion'. I wonder if they're talking about aliens? :) You never know!

Star Wars the Clone Wars Season 4

If you already haven't assumed that I watch Star Wars the Clone Wars, well, it's the truth. I didn't start recording it until halfway through Season 2, but I caught up pretty fast. ;) I love the show. I mean, what cartoon has such great animation? My opinion is obviously a bit biased, but really, I've never seen so much work put into a t.v. show! Season 4 looks AMAZING! It has so much action! (Exactly what I'm looking for.)
Anyhoo, here are some Star Wars things about me:
1) My favorite character is Anakin. I realize that most people don't nessacarily favor Anakin because of his whole turn-to-the-dark-side-stuff, but I see this Jedi Knight as two different people: Anakin and Darth Vadar. I like Anakin, not Darth Vadar. (I know it's somewhat confusing.) :)
2) I think my favorite movie is Return of the Jedi. I love everything about it, especially Han. I love all the Endor scenes and the Ewoks. Yub yub!
3) I know that a lot of people find Ahsoka (Anakin's padawan) annoying, but I think she's okay. Not my absolute favorite, but she's cool. At first I didn't like her, but as she matured and changed, my opinion of her changed. Yay!
4) I absolutely LOVE when Anakin and Obi-wan are together. They are the funniest! The sarcasm they use with one another is priceless. :)

Batman Shoes, Anyone?

As I start preparing for The Dark Knight Rises, coming out July of next year, I can't help but want these AMAZING shoes. Batman Convers. Who knew shoes could be this awesome? I almost bought these, but decided to get a Star Wars jacket instead. Besides, these were what? $70? Maybe someday I'll get them.

Hi! (I know, not a very fancy greeting.) Anyways, I'm Tia, a.k.a, 'The Nerd Girl' or 'Star Wars Girl'. Those are the names I'm most known by. So I actually had a few posts before on my blog, but I decided to delete them and start fresh.
I'm a Sophomore, but if you saw me, you'd probably do what eveyone else does. Judge. Most people I meet don't believe that I'm a Star Wars fan, or a Batman fan, etc. But guess what? They're wrong! I've learned over the years to try my best not to judge. You never know someone's whole story until you really get to know them. I'm a nerd, and I'm not afraid to show it. Just be yourself!
